The mission of the Technology Education Department at XYZ School is to provide students a safe environment that enables them to design, use, produce, and assess technology and encourage them to become contributing members of society.
Program Goals
The goals of the Technology Education Program at XYZ School are to prepare students to:
- Be informed and prepared for a society that is characterized by technological change (Technology Education: The Basis for Career Decision-Making)
- Become a life-long learner
- Become technologically literate through the understanding of technology, its evolution, current impact and future implications to design, use produce, and assess (Technology Education: Its Opportunities)

- Integrate knowledge from other disciplines to solve technological problems (Technology Education: Its Opportunities)
